It's Still Snowing

Now Where Did I Leave My Woodpile?

I So Want To Jump Off Of The Roof Onto Those Drifts

It sure looks pretty...but it looks like you're on your own getting that garage door cleared, the wood pile unburied, and jumping off the roof. Wew! Sure wish I could join you on the last one though...

I whine to my boys when the going gets too tough at this end...if they pay no heed, then I fake a heart attack.

;)

If I could warp myself and a few others over there, Burdock Boy, shoveling out the driveway would be the first priority. Followed by the cooking and eating of a hearty and heartening dinner, spent in your fine company...

Ah, one day the warp-drive will materialize, and the utopia of Star Trek will become reality. :)

Wow. Now that is some kinda snow. And you seriously want to jump in it? I'll just stick with watching from my big window.:)

You told me you're getting nothing up there. Is it unusal? I'm not sure where you're at, but my brother says it's less than usual - He's 40 miles north of hayward. Whatever, I feel for you. Down south here we've been spoiled for so long, but I (we) havent seen the sun for 10 days. Tomorrow night is the total eclipse of the moon and maybe you'll get to see it. I've been buried under thick cloudinesss for what seems like forever.

Boys are natures snowshovel. I had to go through the shoveling when I was a child. Luckily, I often didn't have to go to school until we were able to get out. I usually finished up aound 3:00pm if school wasn't cancelled.

Barnes:
I kindly accept your hypothetical offer. The cupboards are stocked with plenty of food, salmon in the freezer, there is some great cheese in the fridge, plenty of coffee, and a few dark ales.
Cheers.

Kim:
What fun is snow if one can't play in it. Tomorrow I jump. Hey maybe that would be a youtube worthy.

Toby:
We were getting very little storm activity this year. I believe the jet stream was unusually far south this winter. This past week however, we have been hit with two storms, the last one quite a doozy.

I believe I remember you saying your brother lived in Barnes. I was down that way quite a bit this summer for my job. I live a bit north of there, but still in the same county.

It's still snowing here so no chance of an eclipse peek. I'll just put on some Pink Floyd instead.

Tell me you at least have a plow.

And I remember jumping off MY house as a kid into the snowbanks. And making big snow tunnels.

Have some fun...! And bake some bread, eat some soup after all that chilly exertion.

Hey, weren't you complaining a little while back because of the lack of snow? Looks like you'll have your fill now. I don't envy you with the shoveling though. I had to do quite a lot of that this year.

Ha ha. I imagine your snowfall is over for this year.

el: actually I ended up calling the township to plow me out. I usually pay at the beginning of the year, but I thought maybe this year I could get away with just driving through the snow. Not after the last storm.

Kim: no video footage, but I do have a couple photos. I'll post later.

Carla:
Yes after a lousy snowfall year, the past week has partially made up for it. We are still behind average, but it could be a snowy March/April. I'm finally done shoveling, but I am a bit sore.
