As the old song goes: "When it's springtime in Alaska it's 40 below..."

Northland? Would you care to define that?

Have a great day, Burdock.

Obviously, my fingers don't work so well today...

Good old Indiana is in a freeze right now. Down in the 20's. Yuck.
All the spring flowers are drooping.
Here's a saying about Indiana"if you don't like the weather just wait a minute,it'll change".

T.Fool:
Hello. I don't think we have spring here.

As for Northland, I believe that's a term used here by Midwesterns to describe N.Wisco, N.Minnesota, and N.Michigan. Basically where the trees and cold is (compared to the other Midwet states). I like the term Northwoods better. I'm not sure if the folks in Maine or Vermont call it the Northland there or not.

Peppylady:
You never know out there though. I've heard that it snowed in June in N. Idaho before.

Kim:
The flowers never made it out here ye.
Funny people say that about the weather here as well. Also they said that in N Idaho when I lived there.

We are having a mild cold snap too, our high today is 73 and I can't wait to get out there and enjoy it. This is our time of year though and come summer we will be retreating indoors to escape the summer heat and humdity. I have to say it again that little girl is adorable!!! Thanks for sharing
