Does the Safeway Corp. Know Their Carts Are Being Used For Non-Shopping Purposes?

I don't know. Just seemed a bit odd. They do have cones or orange barrels for such tasks. Taken at the Newport, WA Safeway if anyone wants to nark 'em out.

Maybe it is making due with what they have? We are in a recession right and who knows how much those orange cones cost. Besides how much multi tasking does a shopping cart get to do aside from a mobile home for those living alternative lifestyles? Interesting pic.

Maggie:
Those orange cones are expensive so I guess I should give Safeway credit for being thrifty.

Peppy:
I have a friend who charges no less than $40 an hour to shovel. It's good money, but after spending about 3 hours doing mine-it's tough work.

Interesting photo there. That shoveling is hard work. I wish the snow would give me a bit of a break.

H'lo Burdock. Interesting pic. I've decided that I've shoveled my quota of snow for a lifetime, and now leave it to the kid or pay the plowman. I figure I'm just cutting out having to pay a chiropractor. :)

I am so over shoveling. We had to have a a little cat bulldozer come in to clear us out our driveway was so bad. At least it's sunny today.

Maybe I'll get there someday, but not yet. Perhaps a snowblower by the age of 40 is something to shoot for.

They always blamed it on the carts. Now I know why groceries cost so much.

It's been cold and full of snow here too. The worst in 15 years is what they're saying.

Below is my response to your comment at my place because I won't see you there again for another 6 or 8 months. Keep warm dude, how are the little one(s)? god bless you. ;-)

I don't want to piss anyone off, but the "demand" that we're celebrating the birth of Jesus pisses me off. I work for the state and some dogooders faught long and hard to take away state workers good friday holiday. Can't mix Church and State. When will they attack christmas? Back to the 'demand.' The religious people impress upon us that we're celebrating the birth of one guy named Jesus. Imagine if the holy land was in Mexico. No one knows when "Jesus" was born, there are only a kazillion differen't reasons why the people of the world who celebrate xmas do it on that date. Science fails and it fails often, but god fearing religion is nothing but a HUGE failure since about 500 years after its inception. That's 7500 years ago that the world has been at religion based war if you're keeping tabs.
